IDEAL is a local company, offering residential plumbing and heating services to our friends and neighbors in Philadelphia and its surrounding suburbs (Bucks and Montgomery Counties). Since 1991, we have provided a full range of services—from handling plumbing and heating emergencies to installing all plumbing and drainage necessities for basement expansion projects and second-story additions. From repair, replacement to renovation, we built IDEAL on the principles of outstanding work and customer service, with the goal of retaining a client for life.
Mike Brescia
IDEAL was founded by Mike Brescia in 1991, following a 10-year career with a Bucks County plumbing company. Raised in Philadelphia, Mike is a 1981 graduate of Father Judge High School and the Swenson Arts and Technical High School. “I’ve always been a hands-on, mechanical guy—the type who likes to take things apart and put them back together,” he says. “I was drawn to plumbing because I enjoy the challenge of solving problems.” Mike is a Licensed Master Plumber and lives in Buckingham.
Joe West
Joe West joined IDEAL as Mike’s business partner in 1992, after learning the trade through a 13-year stint with a suburban plumbing service. He is a 1979 graduate of Archbishop Ryan High School in Philadelphia and a Licensed Master Plumber. Joe lives in Buckingham.
